Delgado will put her universal crown on the line at 115 pounds against Venezuelan Yoselin Fernández in one of the main bouts of the event, which will take place at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in the Nicaraguan capital. The Panamanian world champion, who arrived in the 'pinolera' capital on Tuesday, worked on Wednesday at the gym with glove drills, bag work, and rope skipping to maintain her weight. For today, Thursday, she will participate in the event's press conference, scheduled for 11 a.m. (Panama time) at the Crown Plaza By IHG in the city of Managua, where she is expected to have her first 'face-to-face' with her rival. Tomorrow, Friday, the official weigh-in ceremony is scheduled, where neither Delgado nor the Venezuelan Fernández should exceed the 115-pound limit. This will be Delgado's second title defense, having won the WBA 115-pound world title on July 18, 2025, in Panama City when she defeated fellow Mexican and former world champion Maribel Ramírez by unanimous decision.
