Nicaragua's Embassy Showcases Culture and Cuisine at Panama Festival

The Embassy of Nicaragua in Panama, on behalf of our Good Government of National Reconciliation and Unity and the People, participated in the gastronomic and cultural event 'Republic of Flavor,' organized and promoted by the Local Government of Parque Lefevre. The event took place at the site of La Torre de Panamá La Vieja. For Nicaragua, our Embassy, along with Nicaraguan entrepreneurs and artists residing in Panama, showcased the variety and exquisite nature of our cuisine: vigorón, pork with cassava, tacos, enchiladas, plantain empanadas, and a wide variety of refreshments. Similarly, our dances were represented by Nicaraguan artist Yarabi de Gracia, who performed 'Aquella Indita' and 'El Solar de Monimbó,' which were very well received by the attending public. Likewise, promotional videos of Nicaragua were shown, highlighting its attractions and identity. The inaugural speech was given by the Representative of the Parque Lefevre district, Rodolfo Rodríguez, who thanked the Embassies, institutions, entrepreneurs, artists, and the general public for their participation. In this regard, our Ambassador, Compañero Carlos Midence, greeted the Representative on behalf of our Sandinista Good Government and People, as part of the Spirit of Brotherhood between our Nations. The event aims to celebrate and enjoy the rich cultural and gastronomic diversity of various countries, including that of the host country. Countries such as the People's Republic of China, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, and others were present at the gathering. Representative Rodolfo Rodríguez thanked our Motherland for its participation with all our Flavor and Culture and expressed his willingness to continue working together in future activities.
